The Ackerman 20th Century Club hosted their annual Pet Show on Saturday.
CCCTC's CTE Counselor, Mrs. McGlothin, and students Brandon Mullins, Michael Woods, and Tyson Neal were honored to volunteer for Saturday's event.



The Sports Medicine students were practicing 1-rescuer cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) using a barrier mask in class.

This week is "Advocates for Children Week." The Ackerman 20th Century Club is hosting a Teddy Bear Drive October 25th-29th. CCCTC is helping the Ackerman 20th Century Club by collecting new teddy bears this week for local foster children in Choctaw County.


SFC Robert Oswalt visited CCCTC classes and spoke to students about the opportunities available through the Mississippi Army National Guard.


The Animals I and II classes conducted a unit on Animal Nutrition, with an activity interpreting feed label and practiced interpreting the nutritional labels on cereal boxes. The students compared the nutrients needed for agricultural animals and those needed for people.





Sports Medicine students have been learning about the recognition and treatment of various soft tissue injuries, shock, and other emergent medical conditions. Students completed soft tissue injury management checkoffs this week.





Mrs. McGlothin, CTE School Counselor at CCCTC, recently hosted the CTE Counselor Advisory Council Meeting. A special thank you to all of our Stakeholders that attended in person and those who communicated virtually.

CCCTC's Annual Fruit Sale has begun!! You can purchase fruit from any student at the CCCTC or you can call 662-285-4152 to place an order. Be sure to look for the new items including Homestyle Jams and Salsa. The expected fruit delivery date will be on December 6.

Culinary arts 2 students are learning about sandwiches. They made a club sandwich, Philly steak and cheese, and Monte Cristo.
