Students in Culinary Arts II experimented with a variety of garnishing techniques in the annual Twinkie Challenge. Students were evaluated on their use of color, texture, composition, and height as they presented the classic Twinkie in an upgraded fashion.

Sports Medicine students learned about concussions or mild traumatic brain injuries this week in class. They each created a helmet out of sports medicine supplies to protect an egg (brain) from physical trauma. Each helmet was tested by being dropped from the 2nd floor.

Health Care & Clinical Services students at CCCTC attended their first day at clinicals this week at Choctaw Regional Medical Center.

The Sports Medicine students completed their cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) certification training today. The students did a great job with their skills check offs! A BIG thanks to Mrs. Thomas for providing the BLS CPR certification to the students!
The Sports Medicine students had a good time talking and learning about cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and choking with Mr. Hubbard. Mr. Hubbard shared with students about many real-life situations in which he provided various medical care during emergency situations.
