Weir Elementary School 1st grade is working on addition with regrouping - that equals 100. Each student picked their own numbers for six sprinkle colors. But, they had to add up to 100. Great job 1st grade mathematicians!!!

Little Miss Charger pageant forms are available at all three Choctaw County elementary schools. The pageant will be March 2nd at 1:00pm in the Ty Cobb Auditorium. We will have more winners this year along with gift baskets, crowns, flowers, and trophies! Forms and $25 entry fee are due February 16th.

Culinary Arts students will be featured in an art showcase at the Ackerman Public Library. They are serving a variety of appetizers. They will join other art students in the district. The event takes place at 6 pm today!

Work based learning skill check offs with industry: Healthcare and Clinical Services students demonstrating patient height, weight, and proper patient positions for examinations with Mrs. Dena Kelly from Gentiva Hospice.


Mr. Berry's Ag Power and Machinery Classes have been working on various projects this week. The students also built benches that are for sale. There are only two benches left, and they will be $200 each. Please contact our office at 662-285-4152 if you are interested.





Mr. Black's Construction/Carpentry classes have been working on blueprint skills and building a miniature house framing kit, with walls and rafters. While doing this, the students are learning different terms and dimensions with parts of the roof and walls.

Ms. Conerly’s and Ms. Fairley’s Kindergartners at WES enjoyed making t-shirts, hats, and snakes with 100 spots on the 100th day of school. They ended their celebration by watching 101 Dalmatians while eating cupcakes.
