On the 50th day of school, FCE 1st graders celebrated with a 50's themed drive-in movie.



FCE 1st graders work hard on a STEM challenge. The challenge was to work as a table group to create a tower using candy pumpkins and toothpicks. Anna Elizabeth, Tristan, and Gage were the creators behind the tallest tower.





FCE 1st graders learned a lot about bats this week and wrote informational paragraphs to describe what they know.

Mrs. Chamblee’s students at Ackerman Elementary School conducted a Glow Edgar Allan Poe escape room Thursday & Friday. Students worked extremely hard on comprehension, literary devices, vocabulary, & decoding skills. Students had to complete each set of skills to find keys for six missions in order to escape! #teamAES

Students in Mrs. Sanders’ reading class at Ackerman Elementary School had a SPOOKY time “selling” Haunted Houses. Students have been learning about text features. They used these text features to create real estate listings to sell their homes! #teamAES
