Mrs. Erwin’s and Mrs. Joni Mcculloch’s classes at Ackerman Elementary School enjoyed a fun field trip on Thursday! #teamAES





Local baker, Marina Loper, shared her talents with Culinary Arts 2 students. She demonstrated how to make American Buttercream and Swiss Meringue Buttercream icings. She also showed students a variety of piping techniques using the buttercreams.


The Sports Medicine students have been learning about the theory and application principles of prophylactic taping in various sports this week. The students were practicing and developing skills in the application process of prophylactic ankle taping for athletes.


Thanks to everyone who contributed to the FFA canned food drive. It was a huge success!

The Charger and Lady Charger Golf teams will be playing their first match tomorrow in Starkville. Good luck as you kick off your season.

The Chargers will be in action tomorrow at Oak Hill Academy. Game time will be 4:00 and 6:00. Come support our guys!!

Ackerman Elementary School students in Mrs. Miller’s 5th grade class had a “The Floor is Lava” day! They had some really fun language activities to complete in class while staying out of lava. #teamAES





We are so thankful for our custodians, Ms. Fair and Mrs. Anderson, for keeping our school clean. We also want to say a special thank you to Mr. Ballard for cleaning our hallway floors.

Health science students have been learning about the Respiratory System this week. Today, they were studying the anatomy and terminology of the Respiratory System along with the processes of inhalation and exhalation.
