Sports Medicine students had a great trip to tour MS Blood Services in Flowood, MS. The students were able to go behind the scenes of the blood donation area. They saw how the blood was donated, screened, processed, and packaged for use in hospitals. Big Thank You to MSBS!

Weir Elementary School Mr. Dennis Moen, who is a Navy Veteran and grandfather to McKenzie in 2nd grade came to pay a special surprise visit to our second-grade class. The students were very polite and thanked him for his service. He told them what he did in the service required an understanding of math and science - he was so kind, showing the students how math and science related to his job - and let them know what they are learning now is important for their future #WeirExcellenceShines
