Students may wear a hat to school on Wednesday, September 13, 2023 for $1. All money collected is for a 6th grade fundraiser to help with their trip to the MS Gulf Coast.

2nd Grade Weir Elementary Students are working on their math vocabulary and knowledge of Standard and Form, Expanded Form, and Word Form S.E.W. Students used crackers, pretzels, and marshmallows to model their numbers, and their EXPO makers to write out each form underneath

1st Grade Science Students have shown an interest in bugs/insects early this year, so this is where we are starting our research. Research for Science Day included the relationship between plants and bugs/insects, pollination, and the life cycle of a butterfly.

FCE 1st graders engineered bridges to hold a book! They planned, built and improved their designs until they were successful!











FCE 1st graders analyzed the story, "Bad Case of Stripes," to determine the lesson Camilla Cream learned!







FCE pre-k student, Dean, is practicing recognizing numbers 0, 1, 2, and 3. He uncovered a hidden flower because he correctly colored the numbers.


Friday fun at FCE for Fifth Graders. It’s game time!!


FCE Fifth Graders used yarn and different organisms to create a food web and learn how energy is passed. They also learned how different environmental changes affect the organisms.
